Design an inviting foyer that makes you happy to be home. Here are a few tips for a beautiful and welcoming entryway.
Runner – Use a runner made of natural fibers. Think about a chevron patter on woven stripe. If boldness scares you, try a neutral color with an embossed pattern. A runner is a great way to add beauty and interest to your foyer.
Mirror – A well decorated foyer will have a great mirror which strategically place, will reflect a portion of a room, or a great piece of art. In order to know what the mirror will reflect; stand where the mirror will be placed to see what the mirror will see. A mirror serves also to have your guests do a quick check of themselves before entering your home, and also allows you to do a quick check of yourself before you leave the house.
Console Table – A beautiful console table in a bright color makes a statement as well as being functional. Add a nice table lamp as well as a decorative box for your keys.

Light Fixture – Have a chandelier in your foyer. An entryway should have lots of light. If you have an extremely small space, be aware of the front door.

Nothing makes a first impression more then the foyer of a home. I like adding a mirror and also a vase full of fresh flowers on a table to add some color and fragrance.
