Passion for Pallets

Passion for Pallets

My good friend Dianah was telling me about her husband Scott who had to have major surgery on his back.  Scott is a very talented carpenter who’s business was building complicated staircases.  While recuperating from his surgery he came to the conclusion that he could no longer continue to build staircases.

In his journey to find a new way to be constructive, he found that he could take old shipping pallets and create works of art from them.

Did you know that pallets are made from all different kinds of wood?   Some are made from black walnut, cherry, and oak.  I was surprised to hear that.

Here are a couple of his beautiful creations!

The great thing about Scott’s new career is his passion for what he is doing.  And we all know that passion drives success.  Scott will be successful in this new venture because of his passion for what he does.
